Last month, we finished up our two spring series. The first, our Spring Exploration Series, is a program the ERC has been facilitating for 18 years! We bring expert scientists from around the state to the valley to give a presentation to all 2nd and 3rd grade students in Blaine County (including public and private schools). The program was a great success and I really enjoyed visiting all the schools as a presenter and a host!
Our second program, the Spring Science Series, is a new program Emily and I created this year. The Hailey Public Library hosted us and four of the presenters for a science series open to the public (all ages)! We had a huge success for this being the first year for the program and over 150 people attended the series! We are hoping the ERC and the HPL can work together again in the future and make this an annual treat for this wonderful community!
