Every summer the ERC hosts their annual Environmental Outdoor EcoCamps. The Environmental Outdoor Adventure (EOA) camp is open to rising 5th and 6th graders and the Environmental Outdoor Leadership (EOL) camp is open to rising 7th-9th graders. Last week we ran our EOA camp, the first EcoCamp of the year and my first EcoCamp ever!
Camp was a blast! We went for a number of hikes (including a hike along an old mining road and a hike to a waterfall), did watercolors, learned about our local ecosystems, camped during a pretty rad thunderstorm, and just had some plain old fun. Next week is our EOL camp and I am super excited to see how that goes!
